Charbel Kodaisy

FOUNDER

Charbel Kodaisy is an entrepreneur with a successful track record and a progressive environmental engineer with broad-based environmental and business development experience including waste management, sustainability management, environmental assessments, water treatment and distribution system hydraulic modeling, wastewater and storm water management, and pollution prevention.

 
 
 

Mr. Kodaisy has been involved in the waste industry for over 18 years. Aside from being the president of Oxylus Ventures, he is currently the CEO of BioCycle Services, Inc., an environmental consulting firm specializing in healthcare waste management, and is the VP of MedCare Environmental Solutions, Inc., which is a medical waste disposal company located in Texas and New Mexico.

Prior to the current business ventures, Mr. Kodaisy started a medical waste disposal company called BioLogics, Inc. and served as CEO where he planned and executed the startup of the company which serviced New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and California. He selected the appropriate disinfection equipment, worked on State permitting, overlooked planning, logistics, and personnel training and operation. BioLogics, Inc. was successfully acquired by Waste Management, Inc. (largest waste company in North America).

He also served as CFO and director at MHMDS, Inc. where he planned and executed the startup of a medical waste treatment and confidential patient records destruction facility that serviced Utah, Idaho, and California. He executed the treatment equipment purchasing, State permitting, overlooked construction and installation, and personnel training on system operation and efficacy testing as per State and Federal (EPA) requirements. He also helped manage the operation, developed the business and increased the customer base. The company was successfully acquired by Waste Management, Inc.

Previously, he worked as an environmental consultant at AH Env, Inc. on a multiple of environmental projects for the U.S. Department of Defense (Navy, Marines, Army, Air National Guard) which included: medical waste management, environmental assessments, storm water management plans, flood control, pollution prevention plans, waste water management plans, drinking water distribution system hydraulic modeling, corrosion control, and compliance studies.

 

Mr. Kodaisy holds a Master of Environmental Engineering degree from North Carolina State University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
